Media History Press Laws & Ethics
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to familiarize the students to media history codes of ethics and laws that the media should follow. The course also seeks to apprise the students of the laws and regulations governing the media in Pakistan and the relationship between the government and the media.
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLO)
CLO 1: Demonstrate the understanding of the evolution of mass media in the world and growth of Muslim press subcontinent
CLO 2: Evaluate the application of code of ethics and laws on different media content (news bulletins, news reporting and photo journalism)
CLO 3: Exhibit confidence while performing team roles.
