Course Description
This course is the amalgam of four skills of language. Learning everyday language skills and Grammatical application will be practised through different pedagogies. Since the title of the course is “English for Life”, it is meant to create a real sense of life among the students by building confidence and using language as a medium of communication.
Course Learning Outcomes (CLO)
CLO1: Apply communication skills (writing, listening, reading and speaking skills) to interpret Covey’s habits and employ active listening. The narrative story and self-branding vlogs develop the framework for pitching in the future entrepreneur.
CLO2: Exhibit emotional intelligence through verbal and non-verbal language in the role-play performance or video voiceover activity.
